Unfortunately, Mr. Riches's concert with James Gilchrist scheduled for the 23rd of May 2020 at St John's Smith Square was cancelled due to the pandemic.

His concert with Polyphony, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Robert Murray as Evangelist, Neal Davies as Jesus, Mary Bevan, Iestyn Davies scheduled for the 10th of March 2020 at St John's Smith Square was also cancelled.

Unfortunately, Mr. Riches's role in Britten's Curlew River with Ian Bostridge scheduled for the 26th of March 2020 at Milton Court Concert Hall has been cancelled due to the pandemic.

Mr. Riches performed the role of Escamillo in Bizet's Carmen at the London Coliseum in various performance in March 2020.

Ashley Riches withdrew from a concert including works by Schumann and Schubert on the 1st of February 2020 at the Wigmore Hall. He was replaced by Benjamin Appl.

  • in Handel's Messiah with Katherine Watson and the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra at the Barbican Hall on 11-Dec-2019.

Berlioz: The Damnation of Faust (sung in French)

For still unknown reasons, but definitely not for the ability to sing the part, Ashley Riches' name was withdrawn from Handel's Israel in Egypt at the Royal Albert Hall on the 1st of August 2017. For information about this concert see Rowan Pierce.

In June 2017 Mr. Riches performed the role of Don Giovanni at Opera Holland Park to great critical acclaim.
