Unfortunately, Truls Mørk had to cancel his concert on the 30th of October 2022 at the Royal Festival Hall due to an injury.

Unfortunately, Mørk's concert on the 28th of February 2020 at Kings Place was cancelled due to Behzod Abduraimov's unavailability.

He played Dvořák's Cello Concerto with the London Symphony Orchestra under the baton of John Eliot Gardiner at the Barbican Hall on the 24th of October 2019.

Truls Mørk performed:

  • Esa-Pekka Salonen's Cello Concerto with the Philharmonia Orchestra being conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen on the 24th of February 2019 at the Royal Festival Hall.

Mr. Mørk was born in Bergen, Norway in 1961, and studied at Edsberg Music Institute from 1978 onwards.

He performed Beethoven's Cello Sonata in F Op. 5 No. 1, Prokofiev's Cello Sonata in C Op. 119 and Rachmaninov's Cello Sonata in G minor Op. 19 with Behzod Abduraimov on the 12th of November 2018 at the Wigmore Hall and he performed Shostakovich's Cello Sonata in D minor and Prokofiev's Cello Sonata in C major Op 119 with pianist Håvard Gimse at LSO St Luke's on the 13th of October 2017.

Mørk reached the finals of the Tchaikovsky Competition in 1982.

Mr. Mørk performed Shostakovich's Cello Sonata in D minor and Prokofiev's Cello Sonata in C major Op 119 with pianist Håvard Gimse in a lunch time recital on the 13th of October 2017 at LSO St Luke's.

A planned recital with Ihle Hadland for 16th of February 2014 at the Wigmore Hall was cancelled.
