Igor Levit was nominated for a “Best Classical Instrumental Solo“ gramophone award in 2020.

Mr. Levit performed Beethoven's Grosse Fuge, Brahms' Variations on a Theme of Haydn and Bartók's Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion with pianist Markus Becker and percussionists Klaus Reda and Andreas Boettger on the 19th of February 2020 at the Barbican Hall.

Mr Levit made his BBC Proms debut at the Royal Albert Hall on the 2nd of September 2015 with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra under the baton of Peter Oundjian in a performance of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 27 in B flat major.

Mr. Levit made his BBC Chamber Proms debut on the 6th of August 2012 playing Ravel's Piano Trio in A minor and Debussy's Cello Sonata with violinist Jennifer Pike and cellist Nicolas Altstaedt.

He won the Best Performer of Chamber Music at the 2005 Arthur Rubinstein Competition and made his BBC Chamber Music debut on the 6th of August 2002 in the Cadogan Hall with a performance of works by Debussy and Ravel.
