Mr. Piemontesi was born in Locarno in 1983.

Mr. Piemontesi made his BBC Chamber Proms debut on the 26th of July 2010 at the Cadogan Hall with Preludes by Debussy and he made his BBC Proms debut on the 11th of August 2014 in a performance of Mozart's Rondo in A major for piano and orchestra K386.
