The quartet will perform and on the 6th of February 2020 and on the 16th of January 2020 and will play Tavener's Prayer of the Heart, Owain Park's >Phoenix Rising, Henning Kraggerud's Preghiera (Prayer) and Sarah Rimkus' My heart is like a singing bird with Gesualdo Six on the 20th of December 2019.
They performed Haydn's The Seven Last Words of our Saviour on the Cross Op. 51 and James MacMillan's For Sonny and Memento with Gina McCormack and Ian Belton playing the violins in St. John's Smith Square on the 15th of April 2019.
In 2019 replaced Gina McCormack replaced Daniel Rowland as first violinist.
The quartet played in Sam Wanamaker Playhouse on the 21st and performed Joaquín Turina's La Oración del torero on the 14th of January 2018.
In 2007 Daniel Rowland replaced Andrew Haveron who had joined the quartet in 1999 in place of Michael Thomas. Paul Cassidy replaced Alexander Robertson in 1982.
The quartet was formed as the Cleveland Quartet in 1972 consisting of brother and sister Michael and Jacqueline Thomas with friends Ian Belton and Alexander Robertson.
