He performed in a live streamed performance of Handel's Messiah with Rowan Pierce, Iestyn Davies, Ashley Riches, the Choir of AAM and the Academy of Ancient Music under the direction of harpsichord playing Richard Egarr on the 19th of December 2020.
Mr Johnson as Basilio, Toby Girling as Count Almaviva, Simona Mihai as Countess Almaviva, Ellie Laugharne as Susanna and Rowan Pierce all sang in a concert performance of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro with the Academy of Ancient Music on 4th of July 2019 at the Barbican Hall.
He also performed in Britten's Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings and Purcell/Britten's Suite of Six Songs from Orpheus Brittanicus with The English Chamber Orchestra at the Cadogan Hall on the 16th of March 2019 and he sang with Lucy Crowe, mezzo-soprano Catriona Morison, bass-baritone Duncan Rock and the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus under the baton of Martyn Brabbins (who replaced Sakari Oramo due to the illness on Mr. Oramo's part) in Mass in D by Ethel Smyth at the Barbican Hall on the 15th of November 2018.
Mr. Johnson took part in a performance of Mendelssohn's Elijah at the Cadogan Hall on the 18th of March 2017.
Mr Johnson sang at a Schubert song recital evening on the 16th of February 2016 at the Wigmore Hall with Mary Bevan.
Mr Johnson considerable talent was confirmed when he won the Audience Prize at the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2013 competition.
Mr Johnson sang with Ashley Riches at the Barbican Hall on the 6th of December 2014 in a performance of Bach's Magnificat.
He made his BBC Proms debut in the triple role of Israelite Man, Philisitine Man and Messenger in Handel's Samson, HWV 57 on the 20th of August 2009 with Harry Bicket conducting The English Concert.
